Beige or Yellow Crazy Paving Outdoor Tiles

Beige and Yellow toned crazy paving is currently trending here in Australia, especially where utilized as flagstone pavers for outdoor paving where a non slip finish is required. We have noticed this trend especially in the Melbourne and Sydney outdoor tile markets after having consulted with over 50 landscapers and professional pavers.

We believe the main reason for its popularity is its clean sophisticated industrial look compared to the old rustic popular crazy paving such as KAKADU. The secondary reason being that up to 2016 Beige and Yellow crazy paving was not readily available and quartzite crazy paving was not available in either Melbourne or Sydney natural stone markets. It wasn’t until around 2020 that true crazy paving became readily available in BEIGE TRAVERTINE and the beige travertine is now imported in calibrated even thickness. Thirdly its now all calibrated (20mm or 30mm thickness), unlike the old crazy paving versions which were VERY irregular in thickness and as such harder to install. Maintenance of beige or yellow flagstone paving is actually relatively simple. Simply seal with a penetrating non colour changing sealer (some like DRY TREAT offer a 10 year guarantee), allowing you to simply hose off anything on the stones surface from time to time or after a spillage has occured.
